Water Jet Cutting is a very versatile
process. We can cut most materials including metals, plastics, stone, glass,
foam, wood and many others. Our cutting bed will accommodate a full 72” x
144” cutting area, and go from the thinnest sheet to 6”
thick.
Why Water Jet? Aside from its versatility, water jet is
more productive. We can eliminate secondary processes and produce high quality
parts, the first time. Water jet cutting leaves an excellent cut finish with no
heat affected zone or stress to the material. Because there is no heat or
chemical impact to the material, material yields are greatly improved.
Furthermore, our system delivers the highest possible
accuracy: ±. 003” over the entire cutting area.
What does
this mean to You? It means extremely accurate parts, and lower material and
labor costs. This is achieved through better materials utilization, and the
elimination of costly secondary finishing and machining operations. In
addition, automated nesting software and dual-head mirror image cutting further
adds to the improved yield and speed to process orders.
